The Bull Moose over our fireplace was shot by Theodore Roosevelt in the 1880's. It was here at the North Creek Train Depot, directly across the street from The Copperfield, where the then Vice President Roosevelt learned on the morning of September 14, 1901 that President McKinley had died at 2:15 AM and Roosevelt had succeeded McKinley as the 26th President of the United States. This Moose Head, which The Copperfield had restored is on loan from Doug Cole.
